Cabo

Neal and I were able to sneak away to Cabo for a long weekend. Very relaxing trip!

Audrey was clearly distraught that we left her at Nana's.

The best part of coming home from an adults only vacation was being serenaded by this little cutie!

We had some time to kill this summer so I took Audrey to see Minions. I think she was pretty indifferent about the whole movie experience and said the movie was "evil." Yea, there were some evil characters who were a little scary and "minion talk" is pretty much the most annoying thing ever. We'll just wait for the next Disney princess movie to come out!

Big Girl Bed

It was finally time to take down the crib and set up Audrey's big girl bed. It's something that I should probably have been sad about but I'm just not. Sayanora crib! I love seeing her grow and moving on to the next stage of her little life. The mattress is a little tall for the bed and I still have to find a quilt. But she jumped in and said "It's perfect!"

A funny little antecdote. Audrey has been hit or miss with napping but we usually make her at least lay down for some quite time even if she doesn't fall asleep. She was being extremely grumpy yesterday so she earned a trip to her bed for quiet time. She was screaming "I can't believe this! I can't believe this!" Neal went in to check on her and and she told him "Mommy said I was grumpy." Yes you were child!

First Haircut

It was time for Audrey to get her first haircut. I'm not sure why I was so hesitant to get it cut because it looks 1000% better with just a little trim. The whole thing took all of about 5 minutes.

4th of July

We stayed in town for the 4th of July this year. After participating in the neighborhood parade, we met friends at the pool. Plan was to go out to watch fireworks but we ended up watching them on TV instead in the AC with no bugs!
