We were told to get a FastPass for the World of Color show as soon as we entered the park and I'm so glad we did. We were tired after a non-stop day at California Adventure but the water show was amazing! It was narrated by Neil Patrick Harris and it showed several snippets of Disney movies. A show is not complete without Let it Go! Holding Audrey and hearing "Forever Young" play while an amazing fountains were dancing guaranteed tears for me!

Princesses!
If you would have talked me to me a year or two ago, I would have told you that I would absolutely NOT buy in to the Disney princess world. I'll just add this to my list of things I never thought I would be do as a mom. We are ALL about the princesses int his house right now and it was nothing short of amazing to watch Audrey meet all of her friends. Each princess takes a few minutes to talk to each child. I'm pretty sure this was the best day of her life!
We ate breakfast at Ariel's Grotto on this day. The food was actually pretty good but the princess experience was the highlight of the day! Ariel herself greeted us as we entered the restaurant. Audrey skipped straight to her and started chatting her up.
It was so fun when the "royal guy" announced each princess.
California or Bust!
Audrey turned out to be a great little traveler for her first plane ride to Disneyland. She was well entertained with her backpack 'o fun and Nana's iPad.
Unfortunately, we had a major delay on the way home which meant about 5 extra hours in the airport and us returning to Houston about 1 am. Neal went on to San Francisco and KK made it back to Dallas before we even left LAX. Thankfully, she took a good nap at the airport. She was so good on the late flight home thanks to Disney Jr on the airplane TV!

Go Astros
A friend gave us free (really fabulous) tickets to an Astros game. We made it to the 6th inning before Audrey started getting a restless which I consider a success. She loved clapping and dancing along with the crowd. She told me "clap your hands mommy." When I did, she said, "thank you. you're so sweet." Since our seats were slightly to the right of home plate, we were in the foul ball zone. We had a close call and I practically jumped on top of Audrey so the ball wouldn't hit her. Turns out it went a few sections over but this mama bear was on her toes!
