I came home a couple of days before the race and Neal had everything he would need laid out nice and neat. Such a planner!

The morning of the race. The look on his face says "I got this!"
Coming out of the water after the 2.4 mile swim.

Making a 112 mile bike ride look easy.

Getting ready to go run a marathon. All smiles.

The face of an Ironman!

Yes! Crossing the finish line. I've never been prouder. Neal has worked his butt off training for this. Literally. He's lost a lot of weight. I'm proud that he has the dedication to accomplish something like this.

BJ and Coleson waiting for Uncle Neal to come in from the bike ride.
Mom and Karen waiting to see Neal run. They were troopers. I'm thankful to have had them wait with me all day long. I could make a comment about how pasty they look but I seem to be lacking Vitamin D at the moment too so I won't make any tanless jokes.
Ferguson. Party of 3.
