Texas!

This weekend went to the natural science museum to see the Texas exhibit. I got a really good deal for the tickets through a Groupon.

I don't think either one of us knew what to expect. This turned out to be a wonderful refresher of the history of our great state. Yes, we all took Texas History in the 7th grade, but that was a long time ago. Some of the cool things we saw were the actual "come and take it" cannon from the Battle of Gonzales and Davy Crockett's fiddle. I loved this exhibit so much that I even bought a Texas history book.
